as i recall, summers in south eastern idaho never last long due to the fact that it is a frozen hell. :) with that i would like to officially say goodbye to our dear, sweet summer as we will not see the sun or feel its warm rays upon our faces for another nine months.
let's recap all the wonderful things that we were able to do this summer:

a little chilly to get it but just a toe was ok
hank came home and wiped us into shape

our first trip to west yellowstone. lots of fun-hikes and animals and great friends!
Andy was able to go muddin and LOVED it
andy had a surprise pirate party for the big 27

we climbed "r" mountain
straight up
hiked around mesa falls

we swam in the fire hole-not as warm as fire but it wasn't bad
huge elk
horse back riding in west yellowstone
andy all ready to go
we had such a good crew and it was sooo fun
hobo pool the warmest funnest warm river around
cave falls we were able to go behind it and it was massive and breath taking
we were so lucky to be able to do this one
fun times at lava hot springs
family went to bar j wranglers
andy's family was here so we took them to mesa falls
the big graduate
going to the swimming hole
free water park
caving
sand dunes
eating at the montage-trip to portland
adult night out-too much fun in portland
frog legs-we loved these. we also had alligator tail yum yum
chilled-literally-at the beach
and to sum it all up we saw the most beautiful rainbow ever right in our front yard
it was a complete end to end bright and beautiful rainbow.
it made my summer
so as it comes to an end, i can truly say that we did not waste a single day. we went camping, hiking, horseback riding, saw scenery like none other, saw friends and family and ate some awesome food. who could ask for anything more.
so long summer. we will miss you. until next year
